External factors short-circuiting national power grid development

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Laos is struggling to source more funding to develop the national power grid and improve access to electricity because of external factors, a senior official has said.

Once construction of the national grid is complete, regions with surplus electricity generation capacity will be connected to those with a deficit.
